The method used to set up Comcast mail on iPhone depends on whether you are using an Enterprise Exchange Server account or an Xfinity plan for a residential account. Here we use an enterprise Exchange server account.

Comcast Business account

1. Press “Start” and press “Settings”.
2. Tap “Mail, Contacts, Calendars” and then choose “Add account”. Touch the “Microsoft Exchange” logo icon.
3. Enter your Comcast Business email address in the “Email” field. Type your email address again in the “Username” field, and then enter your Comcast Business email password. Leave the Domain field blank.
4. Enter “Comcast Business Email” or something similar in the “Description” field and tap “Next”. Wait a few seconds for the iPhone to try to connect to the Microsoft Exchange server and verify the account. After a few seconds, a new “Server” field appears below the “Email” field with your Comcast Business email address.
5. Enter the server URL for the Exchange server in the “Server” field using the format “mail.yourcompany.comcast.net”. Replace the string “your company” in the URL with the value used for your company’s particular Exchange server. When entering the URL, do not include the “//” or “www” parts of the address. Touch the “Next” button.
6. Select the types of content you want to sync between the iPhone and the Exchange server using the switches next to the Mail, Contacts, Calendars, and Reminders options. To enable an option, slide the switch next to the content type to the “On” position. Tap “Save” after selecting the content you want to sync.
7. Press “Start” and press “Mail” to view your inbox or send new email messages.
